When my contract finished as the information coordinator of a disability organisation, I wanted to do something different.
I have been in many disability groups where older and disabled people tell me that they do not use the internet - and in some instances where they find it difficult to locate equipment that they need.
A neighbour have a stall where he sells candles and incense so something snapped in my brain and I thought I'd like to try that.
Locate and sell independent living aids in a cheerful contemporary environment away from the medical model. A space where local people go for their everyday purchases - accessible and not exorbitant rents.

Its been a learning curve. The first is learning about fittings. Shall I go for slat boards or peg boards? Here is Nigel fixing in pegboards into the stall.
I ve gone for the bold and ask for it to be painted yellow!
